The scheduler was born out of the coronavirus situation when I needed to help schedule my lab's research spaces efficiently while not allowing multiple people in the same space at the same time. However, it can just as easily be used for scheduling shifts for any number of reasons and can easily be modified to suit whatever type of schedule needs you might have.
